So many things going on = not so much updatery

'08 had some sweet highlights one of which being the Old Crow Medicine Show CD package & tour campaign I did has been on an incredible roll since the release of Tennessee Pusher in late September and most recently their appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien where the lanky, rooster quaffed talk show host held up my art on National TV. A milestone of my career for sure.


so, I'm doing my best to update posters (merch, packaging is going to have to wait til the new site is done) here in the next few days to round out the year.

The navigation on the site is SUPER-WONKY for some reason. All the new posters are on the bottom of the thumbnails page and the 'NEXT' buttons are not working. It's being addresssed now. We'll see how long it takes to get fixed.

As I sit here very tired a (and maybe a little sore from carrying that giant shirt press into the Cannery) I just want to thank everyone who came out and talked posters with me and waited patiently while Ryan and I printed hundreds of shirts until the wee hours of the night. It was a total blast and everyone who came out was more than awesome. Next Big Nashville was another one for the books. I can't wait until next year.

Anyone who didn't get a shirt that would still like one. Shoot me and email (avastagh AT gmail DOT com) and if there is enough interest I'll print up a few more of each design in limited quantities. I'll post the designs in the shirt section shortly.

Well tonight Madee and I had the pleasure and honor of being guest dj's with Janet of Out The Other, Nashville's premiere college radio show on 91.1FM. It was totally awesome. we had a blast and we can't wait to do it again. Lots of good stuff was played and I had plenty more that we couldn't fit into a two hour show. so if I missed you (forrest) I'll make it up to you I swear.

A couple big projects in the can as of today.

first of all I got the pleasure of illustrating the cover of the local weekly here, The Nashville Scene. The story was about why so many great bands skip over Music City. I felt it was very fitting I do the cover, i guess so did they.
